  Love the fireplace insert, purchased it in January 2017, last week I touched the face plate with my finger and the paint came off. I went to the store and the service manager told me that sometimes when it is painted at the manufacturer that there could be a spot of oil or grease there so the paint did not stick as it should. All sounded good, to me it sounds like a defective product. He told me that the insert only had a 1 year warranty so if I wanted them to come out and repair it I would have to pay for a service call. The warranty was up about 2 months ago, I would have thought that they would want to satisfy the customer. He then handed me a can of paint and told me that i could paint it myself! Yes, i am extremely disappointed in this company.

  Energy House is extremely knowledgeable and provided excellent customer service regarding the purchase and installation of our gas fireplace. Great variety of fireplaces to choose from as well. We highly recommend them!
